Science Department – GCSE Astronomy reminder
There will be no astronomy lessons on Thursday and the last Thursday of Term due to Year 11 Parents Evening and Open Evening. The next session will be Thursday 3rd November (the first week back after half term). Thanks, Mrs. Keyte.

Apprenticeships vacancies are advertised via the careers pages on PHHS live. There are a range of apprentice vacancies throughout the West Midlands and they are being added to on a weekly basis so please check the Website regularly.
Year 9 Glee Club!
There will be a meeting on Tuesday 18th October at 1.15pm in the Music Room for any Year 9 students interested in being part of this exciting new group lead by Mr. Fisher.
Student Investor Teams
All student investor teams that have been notified to Mrs Tozer are now registered on the website which is www.studentinvestor.org. Each team will need to enter the site and confirm their details and then you can start the practice trading. The competition starts in earnest on 31st October 2011 so there is still time to register a team if you would like to do so. Please see Mrs Tozer in the 6th Form office for further details.
